Coach Anderson is entering her fourth season with the Knight Volleyball Program and her first year as Junior Varsity Coach. She teaches Professional Communications, Teen Leadership, and serves as the Student Ambassador Sponsor

She began coaching and teaching in 2012 at Boles Junior High School in Arlington, Texas, where she served as a volleyball, basketball, and track coach. Coach Anderson worked at Boles for two years before she moved to McKinney to coach at Cockrill Middle School. At Cockrill, she coached volleyball and track, while also coaching club volleyball. While still continuing to coach in McKinney, Anderson moved to the high school to teach Professional Communications and coach volleyball and track. While she was at McKinney North High School for 3 years, she served as the JV Volleyball coach and Varsity Assistant Track Coach.

Coach Anderson played high school volleyball at Cinco Ranch High School in Katy, Texas earning 2nd Team All-District Honors. She then received a scholarship to play at Blinn College, where the team finished 5th in the nation both seasons she played. She then transferred to Texas A&M University where she received her degree in Education.

Her favorite aspect of coaching is the ability to reach and work with so many student athletes. During her time as a player, she was able to develop lifelong relationships with her coaches and that is something she inspires to do with each of her players.

Coach Anderson married in June of 2014 to Jacob, who is a basketball and track coach at Centennial HS. She is the mother of twin girls (Addy and Avery) and their baby sister Ellie (1).
