VARSITY HEAD COACH
Coach Crossley is entering her second season as Head Coach for the Knights Volleyball Program. Coach Crossley is dedicated to transforming athletes into the best versions of themselves both on and off the court. She firmly believes discipline, dedication, determination, and confidence are key factors in what makes an athlete successful and strives to reinforce each of these aspects on a daily basis.
Coach Crossley joined Frisco Independence High School after having coached at the high school, collegiate, and junior national club levels. In her first season as an assistant coach at Syracuse University, she mentored Sarah Morton, who was an All-Big East First Team selection, after leading the nation in solo and total blocks. Morton finished her career as the University's all-time leader in solo blocks, block assists, total blocks and blocks per set. Coach Crossley also aided the Syracuse University defensive unit to a top ten finish nationally, after averaging 2.83 blocks per set. In her second season at Syracuse, she helped the Orange to four tournament titles and a program-best 17-0 start.
She is a 2006 graduate of Seton Hall University where she played three seasons of BIG EAST volleyball for the Pirates. As a middle blocker, she played in 158 career games and totaled 334 kills for an average of 2.40 kills per game. She registered 111 total blocks, ranking ninth in the Big East with 1.08 blocks per game.
Originally from Allen, Texas, Coach Crossley was a member of the Allen High School volleyball team where she garnered two undefeated district titles (2000, 2001), District Outstanding Blocker of the Year (2000), and District Most Valuable Player (2001), First team All-District (2000, 2001), State Regional Semi-Finalist (2000, 2001), and was named to the East-Texas All-Star team (2001).
Coach Crossley currently resides in Little Elm, Texas with her fiancé Drew and their three children, Vincent, Olivia, and Aria. They love to cook, read books, and swim together.
